History
The Jacaranda Bar & Grill — known to locals as J-Bar — is Plantation’s go-to neighborhood bar for great drinks, good people, and a laid-back vibe. Tucked right off Broward Boulevard, J-Bar has earned its reputation as the place to unwind after work, catch your favorite game on multiple TVs, or meet up with friends over strong pours and daily happy hour specials. With over 40 beers on tap, including crafts and IPAs poured fresh from the keg, plus a full lineup of premium spirits, you’ll always find something you love. And yes — the bartenders remember your drink (and your name).
J-Bar is known for its friendly, upbeat staff, its comfortable “come-as-you-are” atmosphere, and its late-night food, thanks to its partnership with the iconic Jacaranda Pizzeria next door. Open from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., the bar serves a full liquor menu, great appetizers until last call, and some of the best late-night pizza in town.
